Dr. Maureen McKenzie, a biochemist trained at the National Institutes of Health, saw the growing gap between the modern human diet and the recommended daily levels of nutrients needed to maintain good health and defend against chronic illness. She set out to close that gap over a decade ago. Her scientific journey brought her to the indigenous peoples of Alaska, and their environment and diet. Science has now provided a biochemical basis for the premise that the Alaska Native traditional diet and medicine have unique, health-promoting effects. Now, DENALI has developed some of the most powerful health supplements available, reflecting the most important dietary components of indigenous peoples of the far North American boreal region. Our products, including AuroraBlue® Flavon-Plus Formula and AuroraRed™ Flavon-Plus Formula, are designed to include what Nature put before us as the path to better health. Each supplement formula is a complementary package of necessary phytonutrients and essential fatty acids, required for optimal function of the human body. Denali seeks to close those dietary gaps which continue to grow. All source materials are gathered with permission from the appropriate landholders, including Native corporations and private entities.

The Company continues to promote economic opportunities related to gathering, ranching, and processing for residents of villages in rural Alaska and sister communities in Canada, as well as the Russian Far East. Ranched source materials are intimately related to their wild parents and are always free of applied pesticides, herbicides, and other contaminants. We work closely with Alaska Native Organizations, berry gathering organizations and private land owners to ensure continuous supply.
